Export policy

## Scope and purpose
This policy explains how Baanhi handles export orders: international buyers and merchant
exporters placing bulk orders for bell metal, brass and handloom pieces made in Assam. Export
orders are quoted individually after an inquiry.

## How to start
Use the export inquiry form or write to trade@baanhi.com with the products, quantities,
destination country and delivery port. Hours: Mon–Sat, 9am–6pm IST.

## Documentation
We provide a commercial invoice and a packing list with each export shipment.
`TODO(copy)`: any other documents you can supply (certificate of origin, others). The old site
listed GI and EPCH documents; those were not confirmed.

## Product classification (HS codes)
`TODO(copy)`: HS codes used for bell metal, brass and handloom goods.

## Pricing basis and Incoterms
`TODO(copy)`: which terms you quote (FOB, CIF or others) and in which currencies.

## Payment
`TODO(copy)`: payment terms for export invoices. The old terms (30% advance, 70% against bill of
lading, LC above $10,000) were not confirmed and are not repeated.

## Shipping and transit
`TODO(copy)`: shipping modes offered and typical transit times. The export form offers LCL
ocean, FCL ocean and air express as freight types.

## Restricted and prohibited items
`TODO(copy)`: any categories you do not export.

## Buyer obligations
`TODO(copy)`: customs duties, taxes and import rules at the destination, and who pays.

## Cargo insurance
`TODO(copy)`: whether insurance is offered or required.

## Handcrafted variation
Pieces are made by hand. Slight variation in size, texture, colour and finish is part of
handmade work and is not a defect.
